I saw this write up online about the “Core Shredding Exercise I Was Probably Not Doing” and got a bit curious. What could this person be doing that could be more of a challenge than what I do in my weekly routines. Well turns out there is an exercise out there called the “Hollow Hold”
As I am a curious sort I tracked down an example of the exercise and was pleasantly surprised to find something I could add to my weekly routines. Not only this exercise, but an idea to allow variations on other exercises I do.
Here is a search on Google that provides more information. There is a link there for Mens Health that has a video. Not an easy exercise. Maybe they should give easier examples for people who are not quite that fit but would like to give it a try.
One disagreement I would have with the demo is that the person on it advises that your core is your foundation. I would beg to differ with you on that opinion really. I believe your foundation starts at your feet. A part of our bodies we show so little appreciation for but really has such an affect on out body shape and how active we are.
