A lot of people now spend enormous amounts of time blending their greens and consuming them, rather than eating them with their meals. A bit like their fruits. I used to do this a lot but recently I decided it was not a good thing for me to be doing.
Why? Well I guess it comes down to the amount of fruits and vegetables you can consume in liquid form. Probably three to four times the amount you would consume if you were going to eat the food in solid form, and in some cases you can remove all the fibre that comes in the fruit which we usually do not get enough of anyway.
