D Day today for the lamb heart I purchased yesterday. Though I thought it would be fine yesterday I finally wimped out and opted for something less challenging.
I had no idea how to cook it so started by removing the fat and slicing into strips. Some onion and garlic and slow cooking on the fire for 20 minutes seemed to get me something that was edible.
Pity I did not have any mushrooms though, I think they would have added to the flavour. Seems like a cross between steak and live really. Had to put some in the freezer so will definitely be having more in the future.
